Niagara Falls Man Sentenced to 5 Years for Methamphetamine Trafficking

A Niagara Falls man has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking operation.

Jevon Flynn, 30, of Niagara Falls, NY, was convicted of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and sentenced to serve 60 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.

The sentencing is the result of an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Erin Keegan, and the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, under the direction of Sheriff Michael Filicetti.

On March 26, 2024, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Niagara Falls, during which they located Flynn in a bedroom, with his hands near a clothing hamper.

A backpack and a pair of pants were found in the clothing hamper. A plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine was found in the backpack, while two plastic baggies were found in the pants, one contained suspected fentanyl, and the other contained blue-colored pressed pills.

Additionally, investigators seized another quantity of suspected methamphetamine and eight grams of suspected crack cocaine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey E. Intravatola, who handled the case, stated that the charges against Flynn demonstrate the ongoing threat of methamphetamine trafficking in the Niagara Falls area.

As a result of this investigation, Flynn will serve 60 months in prison for his crimes.

The case is a reminder that law enforcement agencies will continue to work together to combat the scourge of methamphetamine trafficking in our community.
