Jocquinn Lamont Harris, Fentanyl Distribution, Pennsylvania 2015
PITTSBURGH, PA - A former Pittsburgh man has been charged with distributing fentanyl that resulted in the deaths of two people and three non-fatal overdoses, authorities announced. Jocquinn Lamont Harris, 29, is accused of distributing and possessing with the intent to distribute fentanyl on multiple occasions in 2015.
According to a superseding indictment, Harris distributed and possessed with the intent to distribute fentanyl on November 29, 2015; December 3, 2015; December 4, 2015; and December 5, 2015. The indictment also alleges that Harris distributed and possessed with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl on December 15, 2015, and December 16, 2015.
The law provides for a maximum total sentence of not less than 20 years and up to life in prison, as well as a fine of $1,000,000, or both. The actual sentence imposed would be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history of the defendant, if any.
Harris is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police conducted the investigation leading to the superseding indictment in this case.

The charges against Harris include distribution and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, resulting in serious bodily injury and/or death, as well as distribution and possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl.
