DAYTON, Ohio - In a shocking revelation, a top Dayton official has been charged with public corruption. Joey Williams, a Dayton City Commissioner, has pleaded guilty to the crime, which occurred in 2019.
According to sources, Williams was responsible for federal charges against 60 defendants in 34 cases, including the public corruption case. He also played a key role in a large drug trafficking investigation, resulting in the seizure of over 50 kilograms of fentanyl, heroin, and mixtures thereof.
