In a shocking turn of events, an Allen woman has been charged in federal district court with First Degree Murder.

According to the United States Attorney Ron Parsons, Jonnie Fineran, age 18, was charged on August 4, 2020, in relation to the murder of a man who was stabbed to death on July 24, 2020, at Manderson.

The maximum penalty upon conviction is mandatory life in federal prison and a $250,000 fine, 5 years of supervised release, and $100 to the Federal Crime Victims Fund. Restitution may also be ordered.
