Jonte L. Fuller, Transporting a Minor for Prostitution, Nebraska 2022

Ominous shadows of the sex trade descended upon Omaha, Nebraska, as 35-year-old Jonte L. Fuller received a 120-month prison sentence for his role in transporting a 16-year-old minor for prostitution.

According to court documents, Fuller's co-defendant Phillip Gonzales met the minor in September 2020. Gonzales then posted explicit photos of the minor on a commercial sex website under Fuller's name and email address. Gonzales initially lacked a vehicle, so Fuller drove the minor to various locations for commercial sex.

The minor was made to provide a portion of the earnings to Fuller. On October 2, 2020, Fuller drove Gonzales, the minor, and an adult from Iowa to Bellevue, Nebraska, for another outcall. At the residence, both the minor and the adult engaged in commercial sex with a customer.

Gonzales pleaded guilty in February 2022 to Producing Visual Depiction of Minor Engaging in Sexually Explicit Conduct. He received a 180-month prison sentence on May 25, 2022.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the federal government to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Project Safe Childhood marshals resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet and to identify and rescue victims.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Omaha Police Department.

Jonte L. Fuller, 35, of Omaha, pleaded guilty in April 2022 to Transporting a Minor to Engage in Prostitution. He was sentenced to 120 months imprisonment, followed by 5 years of supervised release.
