Jose Alejandro Rojas-Martinez, Illegal Re-entry, Wyoming 2022
A Casper, Wyoming man has been sentenced to 10 months in prison for breaking the law upon re-entry into the United States.
Jose Alejandro Rojas-Martinez, 37, was sentenced on August 24, 2022, by United Stated District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson.
Rojas-Martinez was found guilty of illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States.
The sentence includes two years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment, which was remitted upon deportation.
This case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) and the U.S. Border Patrol.
Rojas-Martinez is currently in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
This case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Wyoming.
