Juan Antonio Gonzalez, Violent Crime, Illinois 2020

On September 2, 2020, Juan Antonio Gonzalez, a 35-year-old man, was charged with multiple federal crimes in the Illinois Northern District (ILND) Federal District Court. Gonzalez, a resident of Chicago, Illinois, was accused of committing violent crimes across the city.

According to court documents, Gonzalez was charged with two counts of Hobbs Act robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robbery, and one count of using and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence. These charges carry severe penalties, including extended prison sentences and significant fines.

The indictment alleged that Gonzalez was involved in a string of robberies in Chicago, targeting various businesses, including a gas station and a retail store.
