Kaycee Teppo, Bank Robbery, South Dakota 2018
A brazen bank robbery in Spearfish, South Dakota, has ended in a 41-month prison sentence for the culprit.
Kaycee Teppo, a 23-year-old Fruitdale woman, was convicted of Bank Robbery and sentenced on April 30, 2018, to 41 months in custody.
The conviction stems from Teppo robbing a bank in Spearfish, South Dakota, on May 18, 2017.
According to court documents, Teppo was charged on May 23, 2017, for her involvement in the heist.
The investigation was a joint effort between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Spearfish Police Department.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Sarah B. Collins prosecuted the case.
Teppo's sentence also includes 2 years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.
The amount of restitution Teppo must pay is still to be determined.
