RED BUD, ILLINOIS - Kayla S. Kempfer, a 31-year-old resident of Red Bud, Illinois, has been sentenced to 135 months in federal prison for her involvement in a methamphetamine distribution ring in Southern Illinois.

According to court documents, Kempfer pleaded guilty to a one-count indictment charging conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine. The investigation, which spanned from 2017 to August 2018, involved Kempfer and several co-defendants, including Scott A. Carnell, Jordan D. Vuichard, and Jarrett C. Hood.

As part of her sentence, Kempfer was also ordered to serve four years of supervised release and pay $200 in fines.
