Kevin Tyler, II, Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, Louisiana 2025

A New Orleans man has been sentenced to prison for his role in distributing multi-kilogram quantities of cocaine in the Eastern District of Louisiana.

According to court documents, Kevin Tyler, II a/k/a 'City,' was sentenced to 170 months imprisonment, five years of supervised release, and a $200 mandatory special assessment fee.

Tyler, 48, was also ordered to pay a $200 fine. The sentencing took place on August 27, 2025.

The investigation into Tyler's activities was led by the Drug Enforcement Administration – New Orleans Field Division Office, with assistance from various law enforcement agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Louisiana State Police.

The prosecution was handled by Assistant United States Attorney Lynn E. Schiffman of the Narcotics Unit.

The case is part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) initiative, which targets high-level criminal organizations that threaten the United States.
