Kory Doyle, Child Pornography Possession, New York 2017
A Buffalo, NY, man was sentenced to 36 months in prison for possession of child pornography. According to U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr., 33-year-old Kory Doyle of Warsaw, NY, was found in possession of child pornography on multiple computers, hard drives, and cellular telephones.
Doyle downloaded the images and videos from various websites, including some that depicted prepubescent minors under 12 years old, violence, and the sexual abuse of an infant. The images and videos were discovered on September 5, 2017.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo handled the case, stating that the investigation revealed Doyle's possession of child pornography.
The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Buffalo Office, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Gary Loeffert, and the New York State Police, under the direction of Major Edward Kennedy.
Doyle was sentenced by Chief U.S District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr. in Buffalo, NY.
The case highlights the importance of law enforcement's efforts to combat child pornography and protect vulnerable victims.
