Lamar Harris, Violent Crime, Illinois 2020

In a shocking turn of events, Lamar Harris, a 35-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was convicted of multiple violent crimes in the ILCD Federal District Court.

The case, which was filed on October 6, 2020, involved a string of incidents that took place throughout the summer of 2020, resulting in several victims suffering from serious injuries.

Harris was charged with multiple counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit assault, and attempted murder, among other charges.

According to court documents, Harris and his co-defendants allegedly targeted several individuals, including a convenience store owner and a group of teenagers, in a violent spree that spanned several weeks.

The investigation, led by the FBI and the Chicago Police Department, resulted in the arrest of Harris and his co-defendants in late August 2020.
