Canton Man Charged with Child Pornography

Larry P. Smith, 65, a resident of Canton, Ohio, has been indicted on serious child pornography charges. The indictment alleges that Smith knowingly received and distributed numerous computer files containing visual depictions of real minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

According to the indictment, this disturbing activity took place between October 7 and 10, 2013. The indictment also charges that on or about November 20, 2013, Smith possessed several laptop computers, an Apple computer, and several external hard drives, each containing child pornography.

Smith is charged with receiving, distributing, and possessing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
