Indianapolis Gang Members Indicted on Racketeering Charges
The MOB Gang, responsible for a number of area pharmacy robberies, taking prescription narcotics for street sale, has been hit with federal racketeering charges. The indictment alleges that members of the gang robbed numerous Indianapolis-area pharmacies and distributed the stolen prescription drugs on the street.

The gang, which operated near the area of 40th and Boulevard Place in Indianapolis, commonly robbed opiate prescription drugs, including OxyContin, Percocet, and Roxicodone, which could be illegally sold on the street for up to $15 per tablet.
The indictment further alleges that the gang used violence and the threat of violence to protect their territory through the use of social media. Members of the gang followed a code of silence (COS) forbidding members from providing information to law enforcement about their illegal activities.
