Lawrence Kevin Paille, Tax Evasion, Wyoming 2015
A Kapaa, Hawaii resident has been sentenced for tax evasion in a Wyoming court. Lawrence Kevin Paille, 60, was found guilty of conspiracy to defraud the United States by obstructing the assessment and collection of federal income taxes.
Paille was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on June 24, 2015. He received 3 years of supervised probation and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and a restitution amount which will be determined at a later date.
Paille's co-conspirators, Joseph Ruben Hill, Lucile Kathleen Hill, and Gloria Jean Reeder, were convicted by a jury on May 24, 2015, for their parts in the same conspiracy. They are scheduled to be sentenced in August.
This case was investigated by the Internal Revenue Service.
