Lewaun Christopher Porter, Methamphetamine Trafficking, Wyoming 2019
Aurora, Colorado resident Lewaun Christopher Porter, 43, has been handed a lengthy prison sentence for his involvement in a methamphetamine trafficking operation in Wyoming.
According to court records, Porter was arrested in Cheyenne, Wyoming on an unspecified date.
On November 12, 2019, Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson sentenced Porter to 108 months of imprisonment, followed by 60 months of supervised release, for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin, as well as carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation led the investigation into Porter's activities.
As part of his sentence, Porter was ordered to pay $200 in community restitution and a $300 special assessment.
