Sharon Resident Charged in Fentanyl Trafficking Scheme

London Pinkins, a 26-year-old resident of Sharon, Pennsylvania, has been charged with conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl, 100 grams or more of heroin, 28 grams or more of cocaine base, a quantity of cocaine, and a quantity of methamphetamine from June 2020 to June 2021.

Pinkins is also charged with conspiring to launder drug trafficking proceeds from June 2020 to June 2021. The indictment alleges that Pinkins and his co-conspirators distributed crack cocaine in the vicinity of protected areas such as playgrounds, schools, and public housing facilities.

The investigation into Pinkins and his co-conspirators was a year-long effort by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. The agencies involved in the investigation include the FBI, the DEA, and the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office.

While 12 Pennsylvanians are dying from opioid overdoses every day, Pinkins and his co-conspirators peddled dozens of kilos of devastating poisons, including heroin and cocaine, into our communities to make a buck.

Thanks to this yearlong investigation with our local, state, and federal law enforcement partners, we have been able to take down more than two dozen violent drug traffickers.

Pinkins and his co-conspirators are currently in custody and will face trial at a later date. The case against them is ongoing and further information will be released as it becomes available.
