Mack Doak, Child Sex Abuse, Alabama 2018

A federal jury in Mobile, Alabama, has convicted a husband and wife of child sex abuse in a case that spanned multiple jurisdictions.

Mack Doak, 51, and his wife, Jaycee Doak, 41, were found guilty on all charges in a child exploitation case.

The jury heard testimony from three child victims who were abused for years by the defendants.

The victims testified that Mack Doak had sexually abused them in Texas, Florida, and Alabama, and that they had disclosed the abuse to Jaycee Doak, who attempted to cover it up.

Jaycee Doak was also physically and verbally abusive to the victims.

The defendants were arrested on state charges for rape, incest, and sexual abuse on February 5, 2018, after the Monroeville Police Department received information about the abuse.

Mack Doak faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 30 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

Jaycee Doak faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

The defendants are scheduled to be sentenced on August 30, 2019.
