Formerly a resident of Baltimore, Maryland, Malcolm Chambers, a 35-year-old at the time of his arrest, stood trial in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in March 2013. Charged with multiple felonies, including attempted murder, assault with intent to kill, and use of a firearm during a crime of violence, Chambers' case had garnered significant attention from local law enforcement and the federal government.
