Local Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Distributing Fentanyl and Methamphetamine
Orlando, Florida – In a recent development, Marquis Terrell Bryant, a 32-year-old resident of Brevard County, has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine.
The federal sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Paul G. Byron on June 14, 2023, following Bryant's guilty plea in a U.S. District Court.
According to court documents, between November 30, 2022, and January 31, 2023, Bryant sold fentanyl and methamphetamine on six different occasions to a confidential source working with the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Palm Bay Police Department.
Records indicate that Bryant was responsible for distributing 111.23 grams of fentanyl and 276.3 grams of pure methamphetamine.
The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Palm Bay Police Department, with Assistant United States Attorney Megan Testerman prosecuting the case.
