Marshall W. Duty, Conspiracy to Manufacture and Distribute Methamphetamine, Illinois 2016

Marshall W. Duty, 58, of Jonesboro, has been charged with a serious methamphetamine offense. According to the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, Donald S. Boyce, Duty was indicted on October 4, 2016, in a one-count indictment charging conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine.

The indictment alleges that the offense occurred between 2013 and October 3, 2016, in Union, Jackson and Williamson Counties. This means that Duty is accused of being involved in a large-scale methamphetamine operation that spanned multiple counties in Illinois.

Duty made his initial appearance in federal court on October 5, 2016. His jury trial is scheduled for December 12, 2016, in Benton.
