Matthew Lamp, Child Pornography, Ohio 2025
A Coventry Township man has been sentenced to over a decade in prison for his involvement in transporting and possessing child sexual abuse material.
MATTHEW LAMP, 29, of Coventry Township, Ohio, was sentenced to 130 months in prison by U.S. District Judge David Ruiz on March 11, 2025.
Lamp was found guilty of transporting visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and possession of child pornography.
According to court documents, a search warrant was executed at Lamp's residence in February 2024, where federal investigators seized a cellphone and other electronic devices containing the illicit material.
During the investigation, it was determined that Lamp possessed more than 2,000 images of CSAM, including prepubescent minors, toddlers, and images involving sadistic or masochistic conduct.
Lamp was also ordered to pay $20,000 in restitution to the victims of the child pornography images he possessed.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI-Akron Field Office, and the case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph Dangelo for the Northern District of Ohio.
