Evidence at the plea and sentencing hearings showed that on four separate occasions between December 2022 and February 2023, law enforcement officers conducted an undercover operation and purchased pills containing fentanyl from Tarver.
Tarver was sentenced in Cedar Rapids by United States District Court Chief Judge C.J. Williams. Tarver was sentenced to 37 months’ imprisonment. He must also serve a three-year term of supervised release after the prison term. There is no parole in the federal system.
