In a shocking turn of events, Mazda Rasasy, 37, of Daphne, Ala., and Angela Dawn Hardin, 46, of Shreveport, were handed down severe sentences for their crimes.

Rasasy, a repeat offender with a prior federal conviction for distributing methamphetamine, was sentenced to 168 months in prison. Hardin, on the other hand, received a 120-month prison sentence. Both defendants were also ordered to serve four years of supervised release.
