Buffalo Man Sentenced On Heroin Charge
A 35-year-old Buffalo man has been sentenced on a heroin charge.
Michael Massey was convicted of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of heroin.
According to authorities, on September 18, 2012, Massey sold four grams of heroin for $1,200 to an undercover officer at his residence on Taunton Place in Buffalo.
On September 24, 2012, Massey sold 3.2 grams of heroin to an undercover officer at a residence on Abbotsford Place in Buffalo, in exchange for $1,200.
The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge James J. Hunt, New York Field Division.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Catherine Baumgarten handled the case.
U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara sentenced Massey to three years probation.
