Michael St. Denny, Jr., Distribution of Child Pornography, New York 2026

A 36-year-old St. Lawrence County man has pleaded guilty to distributing child pornography.

Michael St. Denny, Jr., of St. Lawrence County, pled guilty on March 4, 2026, to distribution of child pornography.

According to court documents, in 2024, St. Denny distributed multiple child pornography files to other users of a social media messaging application, including files depicting the sexual abuse of prepubescent children, including some as young as infants.

St. Denny faces a term of imprisonment of at least 5 and up to 20 years, a term of post-release supervision of at least 5 years and up to life, a fine of up to $250,000, restitution to the victims, forfeiture of the property he used to commit the offense, and registration as a sex offender.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations with the assistance of the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit and the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michael D. Gadarian as part of Project Safe Childhood.

Project Safe Childhood is a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
