Miranda Calissie, Heroin and Cocaine Trafficking, West Virginia 2024

WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA — A Marshall County woman has been convicted of heroin and cocaine trafficking, bringing justice to the community.

Miranda Calissie, 29, of Moundsville, West Virginia, was convicted in federal court today of heroin and cocaine trafficking, United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced.

According to the investigation, Calissie collaborated with others to distribute heroin and cocaine that had been transported across state lines from Cleveland, Ohio into Northern West Virginia.

Calissie pled guilty today to one count of 'Conspiracy.' She faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1,000,000.00.

The Ohio Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and the Marshall County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force investigated the case.

Senior U.S. District Judge Frederick P. Stamp presided over the case.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Randy Bernard prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.
