Pittsburgh Man Charged with Cocaine Trafficking
A 23-year-old Pittsburgh man was found to be in possession of a large quantity of narcotics, leading to a federal indictment.
On October 3, 2019, Montay Clancy, 23, was found to be in possession of at least 500 grams of cocaine, a Schedule II controlled substance, and a mixture containing a detectable amount of heroin, a Schedule I controlled substance.
The United States Postal Inspection Service conducted the investigation leading to the Indictment in this case. According to the Indictment, Clancy was charged with violating federal narcotics laws.
The indictment named Montay Clancy as the sole defendant on two counts of violating federal narcotics laws.
The law provides for a maximum total sentence of not less than five years and not more than 40 years in prison, a fine of not more than $5,000,000.00, a period of supervised release of at least three years, or a combination thereof.
