A Meridian man has been sentenced to over 3 years in prison for illegally possessing firearms, announced U.S. Attorney Mike Hurst and Kirk Thielhorn, Special Agent in Charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Patrick Emanuel Battle, Sr., 48, of Meridian, was sentenced to 42 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for being a felon in possession of firearms.
