Paulette Allen, Methamphetamine Conspiracy, Iowa 2026
Three Sioux City residents, Paulette Allen, Donald Most, and Martin Godbersen, have been sentenced to federal prison for their roles in a methamphetamine conspiracy and distribution scheme.
Paulette Allen, 64, was sentenced to 37 months in federal prison on March 3, 2026, after pleading guilty on October 9, 2025, to conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and two counts of distribution of controlled substances. She must also serve a 3-year term of supervised release after her prison term.
Donald Most, 61, was sentenced to 48 months in federal prison on April 29, 2026, after pleading guilty on October 14, 2025, to conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. He must also serve a 3-year term of supervised release after his prison term.
Martin Godbersen, 65, was sentenced to 204 months in federal prison on April 7, 2026, after being found guilty by a jury on October 29, 2025, of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. He must also serve a 10-year term of supervised release after his prison term.
The investigation, led by the Tri-State Drug Task Force, revealed that Allen, Most, and Godbersen conspired to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine between July 2023 and June 2025. The group was involved in a complex scheme, with Most providing Allen with methamphetamine on a weekly basis, and Godbersen providing additional methamphetamine to the group on occasion.
Law enforcement used a confidential source to purchase methamphetamine from Allen and Most on two occasions in April 2025, and Godbersen was arrested on April 22, 2025, after a traffic stop resulted in the discovery of over 50 grams of pure methamphetamine in his pocket and additional methamphetamine in his vehicle.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Ron Timmons, and the defendants are currently being held in the United States Marshal's custody until they can be transported to a federal prison.
