Peter Molle Jr. and Eric Vallee, Marijuana Manufacturing, Massachusetts 2017
BOSTON - In a shocking turn of events, two central Massachusetts men have been charged in separate indictments for their alleged involvement in large-scale marijuana grow operations.
Peter Molle Jr., 35, of Holland, and Eric Vallee, 38, of Sutton, were arrested in December 2017 after being charged by criminal complaint.
The indictment alleges that Molle and Vallee cultivated marijuana after federal search warrants were executed in February 2017 at their residences and a home in Sutton.
At Molle's residence in Holland, more than 100 marijuana plants were found, while over 100 marijuana plants were discovered at Vallee's Auburn residence. Another 30 marijuana plants were found at the residence in Sutton.
Despite the execution of the search warrants, Vallee and Molle allegedly continued to engage in substantial marijuana cultivation. On December 12, 2017, additional search warrants were executed, revealing significant commercial-style marijuana grow operations at both locations, as well as marijuana packaged for sale at Vallee's residence.
The indictment charges Molle with two counts of manufacturing marijuana and possessing marijuana with intent to distribute, as well as one count of money laundering. Vallee faces two counts of manufacturing marijuana and possessing marijuana with intent to distribute.
Each defendant faces a mandatory sentence of five years and up to 40 years in prison, a minimum of four years and up to a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of $5 million.
