Preston Field, Child Pornography, New York 2014

A 24-year-old man from Webster, New York, has been sentenced to 48 months in prison for possessing more than 600 images of child pornography.

Preston Field, 24, of Webster, N.Y., was convicted of possession of child pornography.

Field was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci to 48 months in prison, to be followed by 15 years of supervised release.

Assistant U.S. Attorney John J. Field stated that from November 2012 to March 2014, the defendant downloaded and stored more than 600 images of child pornography, some of which portrayed or depicted violence against children. The defendant also made his collection available for others to view and download.

The sentencing is the culmination of an investigation by Special Agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge James C. Spero.
