A 46-year-old Omaha woman has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for her role in a methamphetamine conspiracy.

Rachel McCluskey, 46, was sentenced to 11 years' imprisonment by Chief United States District Court Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. in federal court in Omaha. This sentence will be followed by a 4-year term of supervised release as there is no parole in the federal system.

On July 16, 2020, Omaha Police Investigators received information that McCluskey was actively involved in distributing methamphetamine out of her Omaha apartment. That same day officers obtained and executed a search warrant on her apartment and found 173 grams of actual methamphetamine, a digital scale, drug packaging, phones, and $5,010 in United States currency.

A search of her phones revealed messages from her methamphetamine source confirming her involvement in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

This case was investigated by the Omaha Police Department.

McCluskey was charged with Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine in federal court. The investigation found evidence of her involvement in distributing methamphetamine in Omaha, Nebraska.

With this conviction, Rachel McCluskey will be required to face the consequences of her actions for her role in a methamphetamine conspiracy in Omaha, Nebraska. The public will be kept safe with her imprisonment and supervised release.
