Firearms Trafficker Indicted in Worcester

BOSTON - A Dominican national has been indicted for trafficking firearms in the Worcester area.

Ranfli Felix Garcia Brito, 36, was indicted on one count of dealing in firearms without a license. He was previously charged by criminal complaint on July 17, 2025, and is currently in the custody of law enforcement.

According to the charging documents, in April 2025, Garcia Brito was identified as a firearms trafficker selling firearms and ammunition in Worcester. He allegedly sold an AR-15 style rifle and extra high-capacity magazines to an individual cooperating with law enforcement in the parking lot of a Walmart Supercenter in Worcester on April 11, 2025.

Over the course of seven different occasions between April 11, 2025 and July 10, 2025, Garcia Brito allegedly sold over 20 firearms, multiple large-capacity magazines, ammunition, a silencer, and a laser attachment.

The charge of dealing in firearms without a license provides for a sentence of up to five years in prison, up to three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000. Garcia Brito is subject to deportation upon completion of any sentence imposed.
