Ranjit Singh, Violent Crime, Maryland 2008

On March 24, 2008, a federal indictment was filed against Ranjit Singh in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. The charges included one count of armed robbery, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a) and 18 U.S.C. § 2, and one count of brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1)(A)(ii). The alleged crimes took place on January 7, 2008, at the Capital One Bank in Owings Mills, Maryland.
