Rashem Littleberry, Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin, Pennsylvania 2023

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - In a federal court, Rashem Littleberry, a 29-year-old member of the Greenway Boy Killas (GBK) gang, has been sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment for his conviction of conspiracy to distribute heroin.

Sentencing took place in the Senior United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, with Senior United States District Judge Arthur J. Schwab imposing the sentence on Littleberry.

According to evidence presented to the court, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) initiated a wiretap investigation in 2017, targeting the GBK street gang and drug trafficking in the Greenway Projects area of Pittsburgh's West End. The investigation revealed that from November 2017 to June 2018, Littleberry and his co-conspirators conspired to distribute quantities of heroin.

Littleberry is currently facing a pending state court homicide case related to a crime committed at the Greenway Park Apartments during the wiretap investigation.

Senior Judge Schwab stated that the sentence of 18 months was sufficient but not greater than necessary to achieve the goals of sentencing.

Assistant United States Attorneys Tonya Sulia Goodman and Yvonne M. Saadi prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.

United States Attorney Scott W. Brady commended the FBI, DEA, and local law enforcement agencies, including the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, Allegheny County Sheriff's Office, Pennsylvania State Police, and others, for their work in the investigation.

The investigation was funded by the federal Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Program (OCDETF), which provides critical federal funding and coordination for federal and state agencies to work together in identifying, investigating, and prosecuting major interstate and international drug trafficking organizations and other criminal enterprises.
