According to Acting U.S. Attorney Bruce D. Brandler, Davis was involved in a conspiracy where an individual would purchase firearms that were ultimately sold to persons prohibited from possessing them, including felons and drug dealers. This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program that has been historically successful in bringing together all levels of law enforcement to reduce violent crime and make our neighborhoods safer for everyone. The program was reinvigorated in 2017 as part of the renewed focus on targeting violent criminals.

The sentence of 144 months' imprisonment serves as a reminder that those who engage in violent and reckless behavior will be held accountable for their actions. The community can rest assured that our law enforcement agencies are working tirelessly to keep us safe.
