A California man has been sentenced to 24 months in prison for his role in a marijuana distribution conspiracy in western Pennsylvania.

According to court documents, Robert Masaki Taylor II, 39, of Foster City, California, conspired with three co-defendants to possess and distribute over 100 kilograms of marijuana from September 2013 to January 2015.

The case was investigated by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Internal Revenue Service - Criminal Investigation, and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Marshall J. Piccinini handled the prosecution of the case on behalf of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
