MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – In a shocking turn of events, Rodolfo Guardado Palma, a 46-year-old Salvadoran national, pleaded guilty to Unlawful Reentry of Removed Alien in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. This heinous crime, punishable by a term of imprisonment of not more than two years, and a fine of not more than $250,000.00, has left the community reeling.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, the charge arose from an investigation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement Division and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The Indictment alleged that on November 17, 2025, Guardado Palma, an alien, was found in the United States without obtaining the express consent of the Secretary of Homeland Security to reapply for admission to the United States after having been previously removed on September 12, 2019, and December 12, 2019.

The Honorable Gerald L. Jackson, U.S. Magistrate Judge, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report. A U.S. District Court Judge will determine the sentence to be imposed after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

Guardado Palma, who will remain in the custody of the United States Marshals Service pending sentencing, is facing a maximum of two years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that aims to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.

The guilty plea is a significant blow to the illegal immigration network in Oklahoma, and it serves as a reminder that those who break our laws will be held accountable. The U.S. Attorney's Office is committed to working tirelessly to protect our communities and uphold the rule of law.
