Rodshell Nicole Mays, Bank Robbery, Kansas 2023

A brazen bank robbery has shaken the community of Topeka, Kansas, with a 51-year-old woman now facing federal charges.

Rodshell Nicole Mays, a 51-year-old Kansas resident, has been indicted for allegedly robbing Capital Federal Bank on Southwest Topeka Boulevard on September 25, 2023.

According to court documents, Mays used force or intimidation to take money from an employee at the bank. The exact amount of money stolen has not been disclosed.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Topeka Police Department are investigating the case, which has left authorities scrambling to piece together the events surrounding the robbery.
