Ryan Marshall Thomas Streets, Methamphetamine Distribution, Iowa 2024

Poway, California, native Ryan Marshall Thomas Streets, 44, was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for distributing large quantities of methamphetamine in Iowa.

Streets, who resided in Onslow, Iowa, pleaded guilty to two counts of distribution of a controlled substance on July 10, 2023. He was subsequently sentenced to 168 months in federal prison by United States District Court Judge C.J. Williams on January 4, 2024.

Streets distributed large quantities of methamphetamine on two occasions in January of 2023 in Maquoketa, Iowa, while he was on federal supervised release for a prior gun offense. In March 2023, Streets' supervised release was revoked, and he was sentenced to two years in custody for violating the conditions of his supervised release.

Streets will also serve a five-year term of supervised release after his prison term. There is no parole in the federal system. He is currently being held in the United States Marshal's custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Nicole L. Nagin, and it was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, and the Iowa State Police.
