In a shocking turn of events, Safraz Gondal, a 32-year-old resident of Burlington, Vermont, was put on trial in the United States District Court for the District of Vermont, also known as the VTD Federal District Court.
The charges against Gondal included possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, carrying a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
