MISSOULA, Montana - In a shocking turn of events, a local man has been sentenced to prison for his involvement in a firearms-related crime.

According to court documents, Scott Michael Todd, 39, was found guilty of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. This conviction stems from a 2018 incident where Montana Probation and Parole officers conducted a search of Todd's residence and discovered two firearms, including a Winchester Model 94 rifle with four rounds and a Heritage .22-caliber long rifle revolver.

Todd's possession of these firearms is a serious offense, given his 2014 conviction for felony robbery in Montana. As a result, he was prohibited from possessing firearms.
