A 37-year-old man from the Pearl River Community of the Choctaw Indian Reservation in Mississippi is behind bars after being sentenced to 57 months in prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking ring.
According to court documents, Shaun Dougherty distributed methamphetamine on the Choctaw Indian Reservation from May 2019 to April 2020.
In July of 2021, a federal grand jury returned an indictment against Dougherty charging him with possession and distribution of methamphetamine on the Choctaw Indian Reservation.
