Stacy Michelle Braxton, Delay or Destruction of Mail, Florida 2026
Tallahassee, FL - Grimy Times has learned that a federal indictment has been handed down in the case of a postal employee accused of delaying or destroying mail. Stacy Michelle Braxton, 39, of Marianna, Florida, was charged with delay or destruction of mail by a grand jury in the Northern District of Florida.
According to the indictment, Braxton appeared for her arraignment in federal court before United States Magistrate Judge Martin A. Fitzpatrick in Tallahassee, Florida. If convicted, she faces up to 5 years' imprisonment.
The case was investigated by the United States Postal Service - Office of Inspector General. Assistant United States Attorneys Justin M. Keen and Emma Schwan are prosecuting the case. An indictment is merely an allegation by a grand jury that a defendant has committed a violation of federal criminal law and is not evidence of guilt.
All defendants are presumed innocent and entitled to a fair trial, during which it will be the government's burden to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt at trial.
