Talis Dale, Sexual Abuse of a Minor, Nebraska 2023

MACY, NEBRASKA - In a disturbing case of child abuse, Talis Dale, 23, of Macy, Nebraska, has been sentenced for the sexual abuse of a minor. The victim, a 12-year-old girl, was assaulted in her own bedroom in May of 2022.

According to the evidence, Dale intentionally touched the minor's genitalia, not through clothing, on multiple occasions. He admitted to touching the minor to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person. The minor was forced to raise her voice to get Dale to stop, and the following morning, she reported the incident to law enforcement.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the case, which revealed that Dale returned later and attempted to commit another sexual act with the minor. This disturbing behavior has left the community shocked and demanding justice for the young victim.

Talis Dale, the defendant, was sentenced to 6½ years' imprisonment by Chief United States District Court Judge Robert F.
