Ex-Wife Pleads Guilty in Husband's Murder
In a shocking turn of events, 35-year-old Tawnney Caldwell, ex-wife of Robert Caldwell, pleaded guilty in federal court to interstate stalking that resulted in her ex-husband's death. The crime took place on August 15, 2017, in Riverside, Ohio.
Caldwell accepted responsibility for her role in the murder, which was carried out by co-defendant Sterling Roberts. Roberts shot Robert Caldwell multiple times in front of his three minor children, who were with him at the time of the incident.

Caldwell fled and called 911, but Roberts fled to a relative's home in Tennessee. Tawnney Caldwell brought him back to Ohio, where she purchased an AK-47 rifle for him in Kentucky. The two planned the details of the murder together at Tawnney Caldwell's residence, with multiple phone calls before and after the crime.
