On February 20, 2013, Thomas Allen, a 32-year-old resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was charged with multiple federal counts stemming from a violent crime that shook the community. The case, labeled as THOMAS, was filed in the PAED Federal District Court, with charges including aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and conspiracy to commit violent crime.

According to court documents, Thomas Allen was accused of orchestrating a violent attack on a rival gang member in the city's Germantown neighborhood. The assault resulted in severe injuries, including a broken jaw and a punctured lung, leaving the victim hospitalized for several weeks.
