Thomas Anthony Biesiadecki, Fentanyl Trafficking, Montana 2025

In a major blow to the illicit drug trade, a Spokane man has been sentenced to 200 months in prison for his role in trafficking fentanyl and possessing firearms.

Thomas Anthony Biesiadecki, 30, pleaded guilty in September 2025 to one count of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

According to court documents, several sources identified Biesiadecki as their major supplier of fentanyl, with one source stating they purchased thousands of fentanyl pills from him. The source also claimed that Biesiadecki would travel to Missoula from Spokane daily from January 2024 through the middle of summer 2024 to deliver fentanyl pills and powder.

Another source stated they purchased fentanyl pills and methamphetamine from Biesiadecki in 2024, while a third source reported that Biesiadecki traveled to Missoula and then Butte to trade drugs for firearms.

The investigation, conducted by the FBI's Montana Regional Violent Crime Task Force, led to the search of Biesiadecki's vehicle in Spokane, Washington on May 16, 2025. During the search, law enforcement officers located two firearms, fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and cash.

Biesiadecki was interviewed and admitted to distributing drugs and trading drugs for firearms in the vehicle, according to court documents.

The case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative aimed at repelling the invasion of illegal immigration, eliminating cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protecting communities from violent crime.

Biesiadecki is currently serving his 200-month sentence, which will be followed by 5 years of supervised release.
