Muskogee Man Convicted of Felon In Possession Of Firearm

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – Thomas Christopher Joseph, age 51, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, was recently convicted of Felon In Possession Of Firearm after entering a guilty plea in federal court.

The indictment alleges that on or about January 8, 2018, Joseph knowingly possessed a firearm in and affecting commerce, a 9mm semi-automatic pistol, which had been shipped and transported in interstate commerce.

According to court documents, the charges arose from an investigation by the Broken Bow Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Assistant United States Attorney Dean Burris represented the United States in the case. The Honorable Steven P.
